Say hola to our new name: Caminito!
Big news! After 8 years as Nipomo we have decided to take a big leap and rebrand this little project to something more fitting. We hope you can give a warm welcome to our new name, Caminito!
Caminito means small wandering path in Spanish. For this new chapter we will be directing our focus toward celebrating life’s simple joys. Taking the slow road and admiring the shapes in the clouds. Lounging on a blanket while sharing laughs and snacks. Cozying up with a good book under one of our warm blankets. Embracing the simple and slow path - a little learning from 2 years tucked away at home.
The pace of life in Mexico was also a big inspiration for our brand shift and of course a huge part of our brand will continue celebrating Mexico’s beautiful traditional crafts and artisans. It seems to me that life moves a little bit slower and little things seem to be enjoyed and savored more there. Each of our goods is woven by hand by a skilled artisan who has spent years if not decades perfecting their craft. The patience and dedication it takes to craft these items is so impressive. We hope that through observing the small moments of wonder in your life, you can better embrace the beauty and effort that goes into each of our handcrafted goods.
