What to bring on your next road trip!
Here are a few of our favorites things to bring on a road trip and a couple of must haves for those unavoidable hiccups.
Pack an easy to carry bag with your important day to day gear - wallet, camera, hand sanitizer, bandana etc. - we love our backpack for this.
Don’t forget your blanket roll! Any pitstop is better with a quick break in the grass. Need a refresher for how to roll up your blanket? Here’s a link to our little roll up guide.
Wrangle your snacks in a sturdy bag or box for easy access. We like to keep snacks tidy in a Palma Chica basket.
Gather wet wipes, TP, sunscreen, bug repellant, and an extra car phone charger in a Palma Mini basket. A big jug of water is super handy to keep you hydrated but also important in case your car needs a little water top off in hot weather.
Speaking of car things… don’t forget important car things like: insurance, registration, and just in case some extra motor oil, and a spare car key. Having a little cash on hand is always useful for quick farmstead stops or camping fees!
Bring along all of the sun protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sun hat. Don’t forget those UV rays are out and active on cloudy days as well as through a car windshield!
